Gregg has been an integral part of the LifeWorks team since 2011. Before joining us, he spent ten years in industry as a statistical consultant. He holds advanced degrees in both math and statistics, earning his B.A. in Mathematics from Grinnell College and an M.S. in Mathematical Statistics from Iowa State University, where he also completed all of the coursework and exams toward a Ph.D. in the same field.

Gregg tutors all levels of math through multivariable calculus and has also studied chemistry extensively outside of college, allowing him to support students in that subject as well. His deep expertise — combined with a clear, supportive teaching style — helps students feel capable and confident as they take on challenging material.

Outside of tutoring, Gregg enjoys weightlifting, NFL football, movies, and poker. His top priority when working with young people is to be a steady, positive adult in their lives that they can turn to and lean on.
