Matthew Yankowski, Expert Educator
Matt graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. He then received his Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from Santa Clara University. It was in graduate school that he began tutoring and found it to be an exciting and rewarding experience. In addition to now being an engineer in the biotechnology industry, he has over 9 years of tutoring experience teaching all levels of middle school and high school math and science. He specializes in the core science subjects of biology and chemistry.
For Matt, it's always fun and fulfilling to see core concepts in a lesson click for a student. Overall, he hopes to instill confidence in students, and provide them with motivation to do their best in their studies.
In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, running, scuba diving, and skiing.
