Math Tutoring at LifeWorks
One of the benefits LifeWorks offers is that we provide tutoring in all subjects. However, because our students tend to need help with math more than any other subject, we make sure to staff every group session with several expert math tutors. This allows us to help students with any of the following subjects during a given session:
Our goal when tutoring math, in particular, is to help students achieve true content mastery. This requires a deep commitment to fostering conceptual understanding in students at every step of the way. Rather than teaching rote, mechanical memorization of formulas, we help each student we work with develop an intuitive feel for the material, which leads to both greater competency and increased confidence.
