We all want our kids to be self-assured, but many people don’t know how to cultivate true confidence in children. Several popular notions about building confidence and self-esteem have turned out to be completely wrong, resulting instead in children developing unhealthy self-images and narcissism. Research shows that when confidence is not deeply rooted, it withers when we need it most - in the face of challenge. During this talk we will be discussing how to avoid these pitfalls and what, in fact, does lead to deeply rooted confidence in children.
This talk is targeted to parents of children ages 0-5.
