Matthew graduated from UC San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and went on to earn his Master of Science in Bioengineering from Santa Clara University. While in graduate school, he discovered a love for tutoring — an experience he found both exciting and rewarding — and has now been helping students succeed for more than nine years.

In addition to his work as an engineer in the biotechnology industry, Matthew tutors all levels of middle and high school math and science, with a particular focus on biology and chemistry. He’s known for his ability to make challenging concepts approachable and to help students build both competence and confidence as they grow in their studies.
