The LifeWorks TAKE ACTION! Group
Calling all activists, entrepreneurs and artists!!!
The LifeWorks TAKE ACTION! Group provides an opportunity for students to design and launch their very own passion projects, whether that involves having a social impact, exploring a business idea, or creating art -- all within a supportive group context.
This group was initially conceived for students who are currently stuck at home and not sure how to take meaningful action in the world. It will be especially relevant for rising seniors looking for ways to demonstrate their initiative and leadership skills. It will also be great for recent graduates and returning college students looking for ways to make a difference.
Each participant will begin by identifying what they want to work on and what they hope to achieve. Students will then be supported in setting reachable weekly goals for themselves, so they can begin to manifest their visions. Each week students will share their successes and their set-backs within a safe group context, which will help students learn not just from their own experiences, but from the experiences of everyone in the group. These group sessions will be supplemented with four one-on-one meetings with Jai Flicker, founder of LifeWorks Learning Center, who will mentor each participant through the entire process.
This new offering is limited to six participants to ensure everyone receives ample support and time to share and ask questions.
The TAKE ACTION! Group will meet online for five weeks on Mondays from noon to 2pm, starting July 13th through August 10th. One-on-one sessions will be scheduled individually once the group begins.
Cost: $1450
