Sam Douglas, Expert Educator
Sam grew up in Berkeley, California. He spent seven years studying and working in New England, graduating from Wesleyan University with a BS in Neuroscience, before returning to the Bay Area to be closer to family and good weather.
Sam started tutoring at LifeWorks in 2015, where he quickly discovered that teaching was a rewarding and engaging experience - especially with the guidance and support of the LifeWorks model. He departed in 2018 to pursue a doctorate in Physical Therapy, and is now a fully licensed and practicing physical therapist. He has recently returned to LifeWorks on a part-time basis and is excited to be a part of the tutoring team moving forwards.
Sam specializes in biology, chemistry, and physiology. He can also help with physics, algebra, geometry, English, and Spanish.
