This makes complete sense to me, and I can think of multiple young people and adults struggling with these skills. I really like the idea of thinking actively over time about them versus leaving them all to chance as the by-product of a "good" emotional / academic up-bringing. Thank you for the introduction!

Thanks Melissa! And yes, many people of all ages struggle with executive functioning. My hope is that the strategies presented in the forthcoming pieces will help people understand how to fill in any skills gaps they may have left over from childhood.
